The M.O.T test, can be carried out up to one month prior to, the expiry date of an existing certificate. Provided that, a current certificate is presented to, the vehicle examiner at the time of the test.
On passing the test, the vehicle will receive an M.O.T. certificate
from the date of expiry, of your existing certificate.
All cars, 3 years old and over, require a valid M.O.T. certificate .

W. Lever & Sons was established in 1989, at Albert Road, Farnworth. We are a familiy business, with 3 garages in the Bolton area and each garage is operated by my 3 sons Glynne, Craig and Warren.
After building up Albert Road garage, we focused on expansion and in 1996 we bought Whitecroft Garage, Bolton, followed by Fletcher Street Garage, Farnworth in 1999. We have a very large customer base at all 3 garages and understand the importance of a customer focused service. We show this in the quality of our workmanship to meet your requirements. From a simple bulb replacement to M.O.T repairs and general servicing of your vehicles, we give the best service possible. We also carry out the same service to companies with multiple vehicles and understand the importance to keep those vehicles on the move. To expand our Albert Road Garage, we purchased new premises, facing our existing site in 2005. This has increased the size and volume of work, passing through our now very large and busy workshops.
We employ fully skilled mechanics, all qualified, to complete M.O.T tests. In addition, we also employ apprentices, who complete their training at college and in the workplace, W. LEVER & Sons.
